Songs for ordinary days
Walshy is an artist and producer from Swords, in north County Dublin. His songs mix soulful jazz guitar, boom-bap drums and dreamy bedroom indie, and they tend to be about the small stuff: the walk home, the tidy-up, the pint after work.
His debut album few beers came out in August 2023, with Curtisy, lowkick, XO LU and Pager The Sloth along for the ride, and was named one of Hot Press' standout Irish debuts. The single Shower made Spotify UK's New Music Friday. In 2025 he came back with Say Less Again, a song about finding the spark again.
